Ginebra San Miguel Inc. made significant gains in the first quarter with sales volumes reaching 7.0 million cases, 32% higher than last year, driven by flagship Ginebra San Miguel and Vino Kulafu. Based on the Nielsen Retail Audit’s report for February, GSMI's market share advanced by 3%, to 31%.
Higher quarterly volumes drove Revenues 31% higher than last year, to ₱5.1 billion. Operating Income amounted to ₱303 million, 61% higher, while Net Income at ₱129 million, more than doubled last year’s result.
